Philipp Knespel / Alexander Blumtritt
▲
Alexander Blumtritt (born in 1989 in Halle an der Saale, Germany) lives in Fischbachau at the foot of the Alps with his girlfriend, wolfhound and forest scorpion Jesus. Philipp Knespel (born in 1987, also in Halle) still lives in the formerly East-German hidden gem of cities with his guitar, brush and an ominous penchant for sloths. They make a lot of music together: Froststarr, Vargsblod, Goat Sabbath, Calcarata, Nunatakr and Sog cover many variations of Black Metal. They only mellow out with some neofolk in Uraha and Philipp's ambient project SIMBVL. Alexander also produces audio books and works as a voice actor for his own stories as well as some old classics, such as Clark Ashton Smith, H. G. Wells and Lord Dunsany. You can get a taste via these two platforms: grimbock.bandcamp.com (music) and www.youtube.com/yuggothianrecords (music and audio books).
