Robert Klages first started to write while training to become an organ builder (musical instruments, not the icky inner body stuff). He quit the latter to study philosophy and literature next. Today, he at least gets to write as a free journalist for the daily newspaper "Der Tagesspiegel". He is the founder and co-promoter of three different stage reading event series in Berlin, which were meanwhile cancelled due to the usual contemporary gentrification and pandemics. He is a member of the queer-feminist literary collective "Dickc.Lit". His short story "Der Damensattellecker" ("the women's saddle licker") won the "Golden Poodle" award for literature in 2018.
