Didier Hinz

Didier Hinz is born in 1950 as the son of German parents in Casablanca/Morocco. With a French high school degree, he moves to Germany to study physics at the university of Saarbrücken. This leads to five years as a school teacher, four years in science publishing in Berlin and finally a doctorate in IT.

His career years are distinguished by regular long-term trips to the middle East. Sometimes as a consultant in official business affairs, sometimes privately with his photo equipment. And he always returns to his old homeland Morocco.
The cultural history of the people of the Mediterranean is his #1 field of interest today. This is the subject of his research and his writings since he's professionally retired.
