Eric Ahrens
▲
Eric Ahrens. Born in ´86 in East-Berlin, GDR. When the wall came down, he cried. Because of the noise outside his window. Being mocked for his gingervitis throughout childhood led to a serious goth phase during puberty. Barely made it through high school, no college, no trade. Just a never-ending CV with jobs in countless different stores, which for the most part don't exist anymore today (pure coincidence, we're sure). His success lies in the mere fact he survived so far. Yet he always wrote on the side. Free verse or something. His latest efforts being published by BHN Books: the ten-year-anniversary anthology "Splitter aus der Unterschicht" and most recently a poetry edition called "Entzündung in der Komfortzone".
